Welcome to the Llama Lounge, AI Startup Series that I organize. See the final event of the year hosted by @HanaHaus Palo Alto, Nov 2.
Is this the largest tech event in downtown Palo Alto since the iPhone launch?

@b05crypto@trySkyfire My viewpoint is: A protocol and standard is going to be necessary for the multiple AI agent startups and big companies who are entering this market. I hosted the AI Agent Congress and this was a top topic

4/4: Zooming out from a bird's eye view, you can see the entirety of the new Nvidia campus in Santa Clara, the heart of Silicon Valley. I worked in Santa Clara at Hitachi, Exodus, and this region has been a big part of my career since the dotcom era.
1/4: I presented on AI agents at Nivida. Here's what went down.
An honor to speak at NVIDIA @nvidia HQ last week in the heart of Silicon Valley. I presented on AI agents, and provided examples, definitions, and forecasts. Here's the definition slide that I led with #agents
3/4: The NVIDIA HQ is massive and amazing. There's like an entire city under the honeycomb structured roof. We took that photo down on level one and around us was thousands of talented (and happy) workers in this building, called Voyager (from Star Trek)
The inaugural AI Agent Congress.
@jowyang from @BlitzVentures
assembled leaders in AI agents from all across the 🌎
It was incredible to hear everyone’s perspectives on where they see the industry moving.
Bay Area captured 35% of all VC $ (on Carta) in the last year.
New York is #1 for fintech though, at 24%.
& bc it always comes up- Miami fell off the chart 🫠
By my estimate, one-third of the billboards on Highway 101 (the main freeway between Silicon Valley and SF) are dedicated to AI.
-mostly larger tech companies advertising that they have AI built in or that they enable AI
-I've been here for 27 years and have never seen such a focus on one tech topic.
