Hello friends. It's been a while. Jumping on to let you know that @catctx is hiring. We are looking for a Student Minister and a Connections and Community Engagement Minister. Some good things happening here. Check it out here: Jobs | Church at the Cross | Grapevine, TX

I'm grateful for you, @timkellernyc. You were very gracious and generous to me when I was in NYC. Many of us who were planting there in the early 2000s are marked by your ministry to us. Thank you for sharing not only the Gospel with us, but your very life. I love & honor you.
We are hiring. We are looking for a godly and gifted woman with ministry experience to join our team as our full time Women's Minister at @catctx.

We had an incredible turnout at our Alpha kickoff Monday night! The room was packed, and we saw so many new faces. At least 30 people have expressed that they are not Christians, and so many more are eager to talk through their questions.
Please continue to pray!
As a former church planter, my advice: Don't plant a church!! Don't, unless you go through a residency first. We would love to help you at @catctx. Paid residency starts in January. Applications due soon. https://t.co/V521DIBD9i
Are you called to church planting? We would love to help. The Pastoral/Church Planting paid residency at @catctx will help equip you to move forward in your calling. Check it out or pass it on to someone exploring church planting. https://t.co/V521DICaYQ
My family and I take off for Sabbatical next week thanks to our kind @catctx family. Spending June in Maine out of the Texas heat and I am pretty excited. Road Trip! Some wonderful things in July as well. Grateful.
This is one of the many reasons I love @compassion. @catctx sponsors many children and recently in partnership with Dallas Chinese Bible Church opened up a Compassion Center in Ecuador.

We mourn the violent taking of human life in Uvalde. What unimaginable pain that community is going through. We weep with those who weep. I'm also struck by the immense trauma that the surviving children will live with. Lord, have mercy.
Later today I will offer my response to the Sexual Abuse Task Force's report prepared by @GuidepostGlobal. This morning, by request, I am sharing in this thread a timeline of actions I have taken with regard to the sexual abuse crises in the SBC.
One of my greatest joys is to see young men move from having a performative presence to a pastoral presence. The former is an entertaining spectacle, the latter an encouraging shepherd. I'm watching it with one of our men now and it is amazing.
