🤔How much storage do we need in a fully electrified future?🔋 @DrGregMarsden, @ElizabethShove and @JTorriti's argue that current energy approaches reproduce interpretations of normality that are, ironically, rooted in an era of fossil fuels:

In collaboration with @ssencommunity, we are enhancing our @EDRC_UK Demand Flexibility Certificates framework (https://t.co/xWRlJwzRTg) to amplify the visibility of Demand Flexibility opportunities within Industrial and Commercial properties https://t.co/zI2WUqK6iy
Glad to have been involved in this @POST_UK
Demand side response (DSR) could make energy bills cheaper. There is still much to be done to ensure that:
-DSR is effectively used as a system-wide resource
-DSR delivers the envisaged benefits
-everyone benefits from DSR equitably
Demand side response aims to manage peaks of demand and help balance the power grid.
Using demand side response could make household energy bills cheaper but there are some technical barriers, including how energy information is reported. Find out more: https://t.co/my6cwCdJUT
The newly-formed Energy Demand Research centre aims to keep the UK on the path to net zero.📉
@EDRC_UK will steer energy demand reductions that support an affordable, comfortable and secure net zero society.
