Raising a formal complaint against MobiKwik for withholding my money and now going completely silent.
🧵 Thread:
1/ I created an FD of ₹30,000 for an FD-backed credit card via MobiKwik.
2/ On 29th March, I CLOSED the card after paying the FULL outstanding. No dues pending.
3/ Post closure, I received ONLY ₹4,900. The remaining ~₹25,000+ is STILL not refunded.
4/ After continuous follow-ups, MobiKwik:
- Claimed the amount was refunded (FALSE)
- Failed to provide ANY proof, transaction ID, or refund breakdown
5/ Now they are giving contradictory responses:
- Saying ₹77 is still payable (even though app shows overpayment)
- Asking me to pay more before refunding MY OWN money
6/ Despite sharing screenshots and proof, there is:
- No clarity
- No resolution
- No response anymore
7/ This is a clear case of:
- Lack of transparency
- Deficiency in service
- Holding customer funds without justification
⚠️ If this is not resolved immediately, I will escalate this to:
- Reserve Bank of India (Banking Ombudsman)
- National Payments Corporation of India
- National Consumer Helpline
⚖️ I will also be seeking:
- Full refund of my FD
- Interest for the delay
- Compensation for harassment and unfair practices

Raising a serious concern regarding my experience with MobiKwik. This needs urgent attention.
🧵 Thread:
1/ I opened an FD-backed credit card with MobiKwik by depositing ₹30,000. The card was issued against this FD.
2/ On 29th March, I CLOSED the credit card after paying the FULL outstanding (~₹27–28K). No dues pending.
3/ After closure, I received ONLY ₹4,900 in my bank account. The remaining ~₹25,000+ from my FD is STILL not refunded.
4/ Despite multiple follow-ups, MobiKwik is claiming that the FULL amount has already been refunded.
5/ However, they are NOT providing:
- Any proof of refund
- Any transaction ID
- Any breakdown of the reimbursement
- Any clarity on which account the money was sent to
6/ Instead, I am being asked to provide statements from SBM Bank India, a bank I never directly engaged with. My relationship was solely with MobiKwik.
7/ This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. My money is stuck, and support responses have been inconsistent and unhelpful.
⚠️ If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be formally escalating this matter to:
- Reserve Bank of India (Banking Ombudsman)
- National Payments Corporation of India
- National Consumer Helpline
⚖️ Additionally, I will be seeking:
- Full refund of my FD amount
- Applicable interest for the delay
- Compensation for harassment and deficiency in service
📢 I urge MobiKwik’s grievance/nodal team to intervene immediately and provide:
- Proof of refund
- Exact transaction details
- Immediate settlement of the pending amount

@aajtak#RBI should take such action against #MobiKwikScam as well. I am amazed to see how many people are scammed by this company. I have not received my 25k and it’s been a month now.
These guys are doing several frauds using there application as well. I don’t know if regulatory bodies are literally sleeping or are being paid by them to keep their mouth shut but one thing is for sure that these guys are fraudsters. They are giving back my 25k. Literally pathetic.

I don’t have any SBM account. It was only through MobiKwik. Also, based on what adjustment are you talking about. My total FD amount was 29k and my total dues were 27k after which before due date I paid it completely. Show me where have you returned my 29k?

- Now: Tickets being CLOSED without resolution
I was even told my issue was “reopened”, but that turned out to be FALSE when I checked the app.
I have already shared all required documents including my bank statement, yet no action has been taken.
This is nothing but harassment and misuse of customer trust.
If my money is not refunded within the next 24–48 hours, I will proceed with:
- Filing a formal complaint with the Consumer Court
- Escalation to RBI Ombudsman
- Legal action for financial negligence

It has now been MORE than 24 hours since my last escalation — and still NO response, NO update, and NO refund.
This is regarding my FD amount linked to a cancelled SBM credit card (cancelled on 28th March). Despite repeated follow-ups, false assurances, and sharing all required documents, @MobiKwik continues to ignore the issue.
Let me be very clear:
This is no longer a delay — this is NEGLIGENCE.
- Tickets closed without resolution
- False claims of “issue reopened”
- No accountability from support team
How long are customers expected to wait for THEIR OWN MONEY?
If this is not resolved immediately, I am proceeding with:
- Filing a complaint with the Consumer Court
- Raising a case with RBI Ombudsman
- Taking legal action
This will also be escalated publicly across platforms until resolved.
