Stage 2 observed different items closely & categorised them as solids, liquids or gases. Great responses that included topic vocab & demonstrated knowledge of states of matter.
S: Playdough is a solid because it has a fixed shape & will only change if I apply force by squeezing.
There was so much confusion when I explained that there was only one Pacific Ocean yesterday. Kids are so used to seeing a flat map they didnโt realise the Earth is a sphere! They loved this activity tho #edutwitter#teachertwitter ๐
Great PL in the Royal National Park today for K-6 staff. Deepening our knowledge of Country and connecting to Country. I learnt so much. Perfect weather. Perfect location. Now to apply what Iโve learnt to support students in our school.
