Today we're announcing @Corridor's $25M Series A led by @Felicis.
More code will be written this year than ever before. At Corridor, securing AI coding at the source, enabling companies to their development without security being a blocker. 🧵
We just did something crazy at @corridor: we made human code review optional. We use an AI reviewer and @corridor's own security checks. The results:
Median merge time: 21hrs → <3hrs
PRs shipped: 2-3x
Reversion rate: 1.2% → 0.7%

If you've tried building hooks integrations, you'll know that they can be a pain: different hooks across agents, difficulties of supporting multiple different operating systems, etc. We built hookshot because we saw these challenges during our own development and wanted a better way.

Today, @Corridor is releasing hookshot, an open source library that makes it super easy to build hooks into coding agents. Write one Go script and instantly support Claude Code, @cursor_ai, @FactoryAI, Codex, and Windsurf across all OSes.

Two grey-beards and a host walk into a breaking-news episode. Allie Howe had me and @alexstamos on @insecureagents to talk Friday's Fable Fiasco (tm), the precedent, and the defenders caught in the middle. Come for the facial hair, stay for hot public cyber policy takes.
Proud to sign the letter led by @alexstamos calling for the US government to lift export controls on Mythos and Fable.
As I testified to Congress a few weeks ago, it's imperative to get frontier models in the hands of cyber defenders ASAP. Restrictions only give our adversaries more time.

A group of security researchers, AI entrepreneurs, and corporate executives, including myself, have released a letter calling for a return to the American ideal of transparent, predictable and evidence-based regulation when it comes to AI.
Today, I had the honor of representing @Corridor before Congress to testify on the security implications of frontier models and AI coding.
This couldn’t come at a more pivotal moment. Mythos is on the horizon and is discovering thousands of vulnerabilities faster than they can be fixed.
My core argument: finding vulnerabilities after the fact, while important, isn’t sustainable. We must shift the focus to prevention and large-scale refactors.
I called on Congress to:
1. Increase the focus on vulnerability prevention, starting with getting the U.S. government's house in order by enabling adoption of AI coding and ensuring agencies and contractors have guardrails in place.
2. Establish a multi-billion-dollar non-profit initiative to harden open source software, including funding rewrites of unsafe code and, when necessary, encouraging or sponsoring a fork to maintain the repo.
3. Foster an ecosystem of American-made open-weight models, which are crucial for maintaining competitiveness. Restricting access to models isn’t a viable path.
Very grateful to the House Homeland Security Committee for the opportunity and for looking into these issues. Link to the hearing and my testimony: https://t.co/o2QllDSFIp
Announcing Corridor's integration with Codex! We now see Codex as the 3rd most-used coding agent. With our integration, @corridor works side-by-side with Codex to ensure that code is generated secure by default.

Corridor now supports OpenAI Codex. Install in one command and get real-time security guardrails via MCP and hooks. Learn more: https://t.co/kxJ00EoNuU
Our team just shipped the @corridor Cursor Plugin, now live on the @cursor_ai Marketplace!
Corridor operates at the planning step, reviewing what the agent is about to build and steering it away from vulnerabilities before code exists.

The Corridor Cursor Plugin is live on the Cursor Marketplace.
Real-time security reviews, built layered into @cursor_ai. As your agent plans, Corridor guides it away from vulnerabilities before code is written.

Excited to launch the @Corridor Cursor plugin today!
We're putting an end to reactive security reviews, by embedding security from the start of codegen.
You can get started without needing a Corridor account. Check it out here: https://t.co/gndc7pCjX1

Seven years ago, right after passing my first AWS certification exam, I drove out of the testing center. I forgot to look before turning and got into a minor car accident.
I learned that reliability and observability matter just as much on the road as they do in the cloud.
Now, we’re hiring for a senior infra engineer to take @corridor’s systems to a new level. We need your help to architect scalable and durable systems that work to protect the millions of lines of code written by codegen agents.
If you know someone great, we’re offering a $10k referral bonus.
