🚨 Supreme Court grants divorce.

WIFE : Now, I am challenging the remarks and findings on cruelty made against me. They may be expunged.

HUSBAND : Millord, She accused me and my family of attempt to murder, dowry, abortion pressure, gender bias. It took 10 years to clear our names, and now she wants allegations removed.

HUSBAND : She has also taken around ₹57 lakh from me so far.

SUPREME COURT : Taken out money means? It’s according to the family court’s order 😳

HUSBAND : The maintenance which they have taken from me is on a false affidavit. They misled the family court. She filed two contradicting affidavits.

WIFE: My husband called it cruelty and desertion because I stayed with my parents and wanted to open a dental clinic in Ahmedabad instead of moving to his place of work with our daughter.

SC : Yes, wife having own work, there’s nothing wrong with that.

SC To HUSBAND : We don’t think a single allegation in your petition amounts to cruelty.

HUSBAND : But the serious charges that were put on me…

SC : Let things be over. You forget about the past and move on. That’s more advisable for you.

HUSBAND : It took me 10 years to get my name cleared from those charges.

SC : You also dragged her here till Supreme Court.

Meenakshi Goyat suffered a serious leg injury during an Under-23 wrestling competition. She was bedridden for more than 6 months.

Today, she is a two-time National Champion in women's wrestling and an Asian Championships silver medalist (2026).

I am posting this because much of the coverage seems to be focused on Vinesh Phogat's defeat rather than Meenakshi Goyat's achievement.

Vinesh has made India proud many times and deserves full respect for her achievements. But at the same time, it would be unfair if Meenakshi's success is ignored.

Like every athlete who represents the country, Meenakshi also deserves appreciation and support.

Madras High Court effectively bans cow and calf slaughter in Tamil Nadu.

The Court has directed the State to ensure that “no cow or calf is slaughtered on the eve of Bakrid or on any other day.”

It also held that cow sacrifice is not essential to Bakrid.
