Mentorship accelerates growth. Learning directly from leaders like Hon. @Jacobeyeru, who have walked this path before us,compressed years of potential trial & error into a few focused days of guided reflection is worth investment.
Many thanks to @NimdUganda Kudos @PrimusBahiigi
This week I spoke at the United Nations in Geneva 🇨🇭. Alongside the Quaker United Nations Office, I also had the opportunity to observe the United Nations Human Rights Council in session as countries presented their human rights records.
I also emphasized why multilateralism matters. The challenges we face today do not stop at borders, and neither can the solutions. Bringing countries together to listen, question, learn, and hold one another accountable is never easy, but it remains one of the strongest foundations for peace, human dignity, and international cooperation.
Deputy Speaker @Thomas_Tayebwa has tipped Members of the 12th Parliament on how to optimally utilise their speaking time on the floor of Parliament through precise, sharp and coherent submissions.
He was speaking during the MPs' induction seminar at Speke Resort, Munyonyo this afternoon.
Tayebwa also promised that the new parliament chambers will be completed by December 2027, and will come with new technology to assist in voting, monitoring and biometric login automations, etc.
"We shall have a modern parliament in the future," he said.
Today I joined Hon. @DrMusenero in Ntungamo for an inspection of H5 Resources TIN Mine.
We are all out to support the investment achieve the highest value addition to TIN in 3 years.
The historical challenge of the indigenous people on land rights has been taken up by the CGVfor assessment to have necessary compensation as to allow expansion as per the mining Plan.
The session focused on how youth leaders can shift from campaigning to effective governance, prioritise public service over personal wealth, and deliver practical solutions to community needs. We are optimistic about the role that these youth leaders will play in the growth of our nation.

It's me, Janet Museveni. It is a confirmation that the God I talk about is a living God. He is not a myth, He lives!
I must therefore thank Uganda, beginning with Mzee, who has prayed with the whole nation. I praise God for leading us to know Him. Thank you all for coming out publicly to pray for me.
Thank you for all those continuous prayers and also for the kind birthday wishes. Thank you for letting me know just how much I am loved.
We officially launched the UGX 180 million rehabilitation of the 9.8km Magale–Bubutu Road.
We are committed to ensuring value for money by closely monitoring the project to guarantee quality work, transparency, and accountability for the benefit of our people. @nimrodkakayi1
If you're looking for me, you will find me in building little communities; reader groups, think spaces. You will find me caring for my family. Taking a day at a time. Waking up. Staying still. Applying my influence where it can make impact.
To choose a moment of fighting for press freedom and make it about me is absurd. I continue to urge those fighting to fight on. We all fight in different ways. For a better Uganda.
I didn't choose any side. I burnt out. Right infront of cameras. I got intense PTSD. I gave my life to journalism at 15. I have fought the good fight of good governance for all those years. I chose to retreat. To study. To do the things I am good at. The things I can manage.
1 Corinthians15:58 "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
It was truly a blessing to receive such an inspiring message today at St. Peter's Cathedral, Soroti, delivered by Rt. Rev. Bishop John Okude of the Diocese of Katakwa(kenya) during the installation of Lay and Ordained Canons.
I was deeply honored to serve as the Chief Guest on this special occasion. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the Lay and Ordained Canons upon attaining this important milestone in their ministry. May God grant you wisdom, humility, and strength as you continue serving His Church.
My special appreciation goes to Bishop Kosea and the entire clergy for their exemplary stewardship and unwavering commitment to the growth of the Church. I also thank my fellow political leaders and all the distinguished guests who graced this memorable commissioning ceremony.
Nobody should come at @qataharraymond for anything!
When young men invest their time in public affairs, it doesn’t mean that it’s their duty alone to act on those matters.
Many brilliant young men opted to be loud on Watsapp and offline while Ray was out there for years!
Thank you for noticing the need to engage in this direction.
I also thank @RugyendoQuotes and Hon. @BalaamBarugahar for their leadership voices in soliciting the same direction.
I have just held discussions with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba @mkainerugaba and we, as leaders of PLU, have agreed that we shall reopen both Daily Monitor and NTV soon. However, we shall first have discussions with the management of both sister companies. I will inform them when we can have this meeting.
🎙️ Meet our final keynote speaker!
We’re pleased to welcome Jacob Eyeru, President of the ICGLR Youth Forum & former Chairperson of the National Youth Council of Uganda, to our #YPSAt10 webinar.
Join us as we reflect on a decade of #UNSCR2250 and chart the work ahead.
Today I addressed the UN Security Council, underscoring the Trump Administration's unwavering commitment to peace and stability in the DRC through the full implementation of the Washington Accords and Doha Framework Agreement. Under President Trump's leadership, we have backed that commitment with action, sanctioning the Rwandan Defense Force, former President Kabila, armed group commanders of the FDLR and M23, and conflict mineral networks. I thanked SRSG James Swan for his leadership and for the critical work of MONUSCO in the DRC.
Alongside these efforts, we recognize the extraordinary sacrifices MONUSCO personnel make every day to protect civilians in the DRC and respond to the Ebola outbreak on the ground. We urge all parties to embrace regional mechanisms like EJVM+ as the path to ceasefire verification and accountability and approve the first mission immediately. The United States continues to support cooperation toward a durable transformation of the DRC and the broader Great Lakes region.
Today, I campaigned in Kalangala in support of the NRM Woman MP candidate, Idah Nabayiga, and urged the people to vote for her so we can strengthen coordination and accelerate service delivery.
I assured them that Government will add two ferries on the Nakiwogo–Lutoboka and Bukakata–Kalangala routes, extend electricity, improve health and education services, and continue supporting wealth creation through palm oil, the Four-Acre Model and sustainable fishing.
Sir, this is cheap- and the dates and contexts should show, but certainly that wouldn’t suffice for a four star twitter warrior like yourself.
So i will leave you to it, seeing as I am nowhere near as intentional on word wars.
Bwana @Jacobeyeru,
Is this you?
Why did y’all switch up so fast on @AnitahAmong?
Now you call her “my friend” yet you were the one licking her feet here?
