@filos_123 I can agree but Jakic has proved himself as a decent player at right back and was good going forward. Marco could maybe be a good replacement for Stanisic at rwb but Iโd prefer him to play more forward
@filos_123 Quite literally has played majority of his Croatia games out wide. Montenegro was arguably his best game which wasnโt in the midfield but right back and a Good Rotation with Stanisic who also, believe it or not is not a wing back
BREAKING: In a HUGE COUP for the Socceroos, Cristian Volpato has switched his allegiance from Italy to Australia ahead of the World Cup.
His decision comes just days ahead of Tony Popovic releasing his final 26-player squad for the tournament, with Volpato added to the pre-camp squad.
Football Australia are awaiting official clearance from FIFA, and once cleared, Volpato will be eligible to play for the Socceroos.

Adrian Segeฤiฤ has officially switched his international allegiance to represent Croatia after previously representing Australia.
The 21-year-old has completed his one-time switch and will no longer be able to represent Australia.
The young winger moved from Sydney FC to Portsmouth last summer and has played 32 matches this season, scoring 6 goals and adding 2 assists. With Croatia lacking natural wingers in recent years, his addition could be a big boost for the national team moving forward.
Itโs a little funny that Circati is the only one whoโs genuinely Italianโฆ.and heโs now a captain of Australia. Born in Italy to a dad who loved playing for Perth so much he moved the family over when Ale was 1. Antonio and Cristian are both born and raised in ๐ฆ๐บ to ๐ฆ๐บ parents ๐ซฃ
The fact that Croatia have a centre back pairing of Vuskovic and Gvardiol for the next decade is just crazy.
2 centre backs who can do whatever they want when they want. Lab made.
๐จ๐| The Socceroos' games against NZ could allow Popovic to give Adrian Segecic, Noah Botic and Nicolas Milanovic their debuts. ๐ฆ๐บ๐ซ
