This week we noticed several SMSFs, unconnected to each other, all withdrawing stablecoins to the same wallet address.
Different funds. Different people. One address. In super that's not just odd, it's against the rules: your fund's crypto must be held in the fund's own name, never pooled with anyone else's.
We dug a little deeper, and what we found made me really mad.
The full story is tonight's issue: the pattern these platforms run, the five-minute check that unmasks them, and the number that makes the whole pitch pointless.

The five-figure "inner circle" sells one product: dependency.
Think about the incentives. If the trade calls actually worked, they wouldn't need your renewal. If they taught you a real system, you'd graduate and cancel.
So you get confidence, community and no system, because your confusion IS the subscription.
The test of real education is that it makes the teacher unnecessary. That's the bar we build to.
My plan made one decision this week: buy the scheduled parcel. I made zero.
Two weeks of sideways chop, rate whispers, altseason noise. None of it touched the plan, because none of it moved the score (25.6 today, still early cycle).
Inaction is also a position. Right now it's the whole strategy.
The sharpest question I've heard from an SMSF caller this year wasn't about price.
It was: "If this drops another 30% a couple of months after I buy in, what's going to stop me panic-selling?"
That question is the whole game. Everyone asks what to buy and when to get in. Almost nobody asks how they'll behave on the day everything is red.
The 2022 drawdown didn't wreck people because they bought the wrong coin. It wrecked them because they had no plan for that day.
And the honest answer to her question isn't willpower. It's structure: rules written when you're calm, position sizes you can survive, a plan boring enough that there's nothing to panic about. Trustees running patient money tend to get this faster than the degens do.
Getting in is a moment. Staying in is a system. Most people put all their energy into the first and none into the second.
My portfolio is the most boring it's ever been. I've never slept better.
The whole story is in the article: the dollar test, the audit that put me 100% in Bitcoin, the AI I told to prove me wrong, and the three dials that would bring altcoins back in.

The CSH score has now spent 52 straight days in my buying zone.
Plain English version of my plan: I only buy when the score says Bitcoin is cheap by cycle standards. For me that's under 30. And the cheaper it gets, the bigger each buy: an order at score 15 is several times the size of one at 30. All of it decided months ago, none of it decided by my mood.
So while everyone argues about the bottom: three orders logged since late June (this plan's record, not my whole stack) and zero decisions made under pressure. Score's 25.6 today. My biggest buy sizes stay locked until it prints under 20, and it hasn't.
Selling works the same way in reverse, above a level I set when I was calm. That's what I desperately needed in 2021.
A record of my plan, not a recommendation for yours. Full system in this week's issue, link in bio.
I'm 100% Bitcoin right now. Zero altcoins. And it's not because I think alts are dead.
It's because I got honest about my own limits.
Last cycle I ran a bag of altcoins like I had an edge. I had a full-time job and no plan. I chased narratives on my phone between meetings, held through tops I didn't recognise, and got rekt while Bitcoin quietly beat almost everything I was holding.
The lesson wasn't "altcoins bad." It was: know your constraints. I've got a family, a full-time job and a company I'm building on the side. Altcoin rotation is a job for someone with hours I don't have. So my core is the one asset that doesn't need babysitting, and whether you measure in dollars or in BTC, it's been the right call for most of the last four years.
Your constraints are different from mine. That's the point. The portfolio has to fit the life. You run your portfolio, it doesn't run you.
@safinxe It’s funny because I talk to my normy friends and they think im taking huge risk in being allocated so heavily into just BTC
Each to their own
Altseason is the most expensive rumour in crypto.
My feed is filling up with rotation calls again, and I get the itch. I've caught it before. But one chart keeps my hands in my pockets: altcoin market cap priced in Bitcoin, not dollars.
It sits at 0.37 today.
Every major cycle bottom washed that ratio down near 0.25 before alts had a real run. Meanwhile BTC dominance is still climbing and ETH/BTC still hasn't turned.
Here's the trap: an alt can pump in dollars and still lose against just holding BTC. That's exactly how last cycle fooled me.
So my read, for my money: the rotation gets interesting AFTER the dials flip. Dominance topping, ETH/BTC bottoming, the ratio near its floor. Until then I stay 100% BTC and bored.
Not advice. Just the chart I check before anyone's altseason thread.
0.2279 of 2 BTC. That's my plan's progress bar this morning, and the screen I now check instead of the price.
(New plan, so it only counts my buys since late June. Not the whole stack. The record builds from here.)
My Plans just got its biggest overhaul yet: email alerts, portfolio goals, two-tap order logging, and your average buy sitting next to the live score. One screen, your whole system.
CSV upload and exchange sync are next. All of it's free to try right now. Follow the build.
Setting up an SMSF for crypto has never been easier. Stuffing it up has never been more expensive.
I take these calls every day at an Australian exchange. Banks blocking transfers. Accountants who've never touched crypto. Advisers quoting magic minimums that don't exist. I've heard every way this goes right, and every way it goes wrong.
I'm building Crypto Super Hub for exactly those people: a cycle score with 15 years of history, a plan builder, and a tracker. Systems over hype, at a fair price.
The paid launch is capped at a founding 100, and those spots go to people already using the free version first. Create your free account (link in bio) and you'll hear before anyone else.
@Romiinft yep for sure. I think deploying into BTC right now is a good move in the long term
Although I do think we move lower in Q3 / Q4 so I'm holding a good chunk of cash in case we do
Friday's last call was a couple in their early 60s. Trust deed sorted, bank account open, money sitting there. Twenty minutes of sensible admin questions.
Then the real one, right at the end, almost apologetic: "So should we buy now, or wait?"
I hear a version of that question every day. And every day I give the same unsatisfying answer:
I can't tell you.
Your timeline isn't mine, and neither is your stomach for volatility. Anyone who gives you a confident answer without knowing either is guessing with your retirement.
What I can do is show my own homework. My money runs on a written plan: a score range I buy inside, buys that get bigger when the score gets lower, exits decided long before I need them. The plan answers "should I buy now" every week, so I never have to answer it on the fly.
That question, from hundreds of callers, is the entire reason we built CSH.
Not to answer it for people. To give them the tools to answer it themselves.
