It was an honour to help open Glasgow’s Garden of Remembrance at Kelvingrove today (23 Oct).

In the weeks ahead, it will fill with poppy crosses and personal dedications, each representing a story, a family and a memory.

Honoured to join pupils and community members as a time capsule was buried beneath the plinth of Glasgow's new Nelson Mandela monument.

Filled with reflections from young people, it will help carry Mandela's legacy of equality, human rights and anti-racism to future generations.

I was delighted to meet Scotland’s women’s curling team following their triumphant visit to Canada. 🥌🏆

Their victory over Team British Columbia saw them bring the Muriel Fage Trophy home to Scotland, where it will remain until the next contest in 2030. Congratulations all! 🇸🇨
