.@youtube is where teens come to watch what they love.
Over the last decade, we’ve been focused on building tailored products for our youngest viewers.
Today we’re sharing a few updates to help parents tailor their family’s YouTube experience, especially for teens. They’ll soon be able to:
⏲️ Set a timer for the Shorts feed, including to 0 (an industry-first)
😴 Set custom Bedtime and Take a Break reminders
👪 More easily create new supervised kid accounts and switch between them in the mobile app
@ScottAdamsSays It shows up where you (as a likely feed only consumer) won’t see - or aren’t looking. Eg Twitter ad biz seems dead, and ads is ppl intensive (sales, creative, ad ops, etc).
In Studio today, you’ll see a new setting requiring you to indicate if your content is made for kids. This is part of the changes we announced a few months ago in relation to laws protecting kids’ online privacy. Check this video out for more details. https://t.co/dtVbU52W5k
Proud to announce a new initiative called YouTube Learning. We're investing in education focused creators and expert organizations that foster high quality learning content. Read more: https://t.co/Z8my6kUKlz
I'm so excited to share this custom playlist I created for #YouTubeKids! It includes my read-along of "Everything Is Mama", some fun things we've done on The Tonight Show, and a few of my own favorite videos from when I was a kid. I hope you enjoy! https://t.co/rKHEYAQpNK
