We send our heartfelt support and warmest wishes to Kevin Keegan and his family following his recent diagnosis of stage four cancer.
Kevin holds a unique and cherished place in the history of Newcastle United, and in the hearts of our supporters. His passion, leadership and connection to the club and city have shaped some of our most memorable moments.
Everyone at the club is behind Kevin and sends strength and best wishes to him and his family for the journey ahead.
Kevin will always be warmly welcomed at St. James' Park and we hope to see him again soon. 🖤🤍
Thank you to the travelling support today , clearly a very disappointing result at the the end of an underwhelming season, despite some great moments in the champions league and other domestic cups we have not lived up to where we should and need to be.
All of us from ownership down to the coaching staff and players will work tirelessly over the summer to advance our project ,come back stronger and start the new season in the best way possible
To all our supporters, staff everyone associated with @NUFC thank you for your support.

Kieran was our first signing, joined when many others wouldn’t, fought every day for this club and was an inspirational leader, captain and player. Can’t thank him enough and wishing him the very best going forward. JR
Thank you, Tripps 🖤🤍
After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
Kieran arrived in January 2022 with the club in the relegation zone and played a crucial role as he went on to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.
Our former player & manager, Kevin Keegan will undergo treatment after being diagnosed with cancer having been admitted to hospital for further evaluation of ongoing abdominal symptoms.
King Kev. We're with you every step of the way. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery 🙏🖤🤍
We are disgusted by racist abuse received by Joe Willock on Instagram on Sunday evening.
Following our win over Crystal Palace, Joe received several direct messages from an Instagram account that included racial slurs and deeply disturbing threats of violence towards Joe and his family.
Sadly, Joe has faced this before. Each time, we have acted quickly to support him and that has been our immediate priority again.
We have swiftly reported this matter to the police and we will fully support any investigation to identify the person responsible and hold them accountable, wherever they are.
This can only happen with meaningful action from Meta, Instagram's owners. We urge Meta to give the police all the information they need to identify the perpetrator, and to do so quickly.
Removing content and applying message filters is not enough. Social media companies must do more to protect users and support the prosecution of those who seek to break the law on their platforms.
We stand firmly with Joe and anyone else who faces this kind of abuse.
I want to wish all our @NUFC supporters at home and around the world a wonderful Christmas and New Year period, we are immensely grateful for your support this year, travelling far and wide at great expense to support our team, thank you
We have had some incredible results in 2025 and our first trophy in many many years, that is something to celebrate!
as a fan I too feel deeply the results that go against us but success and progress never just go in a straight line, this is a long term project to restore NUFC to the highest levels of football and that work will continue into 2026 and beyond. Merry Christmas and Up The Mags
We will be formally raising our concerns with UEFA, Olympique de Marseille and French police in relation to the unacceptable treatment of our supporters by police at Stade Vélodrome following Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League fixture.
