Something new for family practice nurses! It's an upskilling program for RNs to use their full scope in primary care. Plus more education seats for Physician Assistants & NPs. Great news for the primary care workforce, getting us closer to team-based care for everyone in Ontario.

Ontario is investing $30M to expand its primary care health-care workforce. This new funding will upskill over 1,400 registered nurses for primary care, create 170 nurse practitioner education seats and add up to 150 physician assistant education seats.
