Yes, I officially retract my 2006 Finite Pool of Worry hypothesis. Data more consistent with Johnson & Tversky 1983 Affect Generalization. But we find a Finite Pool of Attention and Action!

@Chadfisher84@DallasSybarite@georgehahn My daughter went to NYC. Came back w COVID. Didn’t know it till a few days latter after she gave it to her dad and I. No masks. We had light symptoms because we’d been vaxed. So you’re but ppl don’t know if they have it. Less need for masks now for most.
@DallasSybarite@georgehahn It is probably more important that you spend your effort to convince them to be vaccinated and boosted. You may need different tactics for those who are vs are not vaccinated and boosted.
