Some cities are visited. Others stay with you. Jaipur deserves a verse of its own. ✨
This October, "January of Jaipur in Verse" invites you to capture the city in words. Its winter mornings, timeless streets, familiar silences and countless stories.
Whether you're discovering poetry or have been writing for years, bring your imagination. Write and submit an original handwritten poem during the session. An independent jury will select the winners, to be announced later.
From the centuries-old devotion to Maa Shila Devi at Amber Fort to the many colours of its changing seasons, Jaipur carries a little history in every celebration.
This Navratri, we celebrate the faith, heritage and timeless spirit of a city that always has another story to tell.
Some stories stay with you long after the conversation ends.
In 2019, January of Jaipur had the privilege of welcoming Jeffrey Archer, a storyteller whose words travelled across generations and geographies.
Today, we look back at that January with a little more fondness.
Jaipur hasn’t turned winter yet.
But the evenings linger a little longer, the sunlight feels softer, and somewhere between a cup of chai and the old hills, the season begins to change.
Not winter yet. Just the first hint of what January brings to Jaipur.
Over the years, some moments have become part of Jaipur’s story.
Conversations that stayed with us.
Culture that brought us closer.
Experiences that made us see the city differently.
And people who made every gathering memorable.
Year after year, the story has grown.
Jaipur has many seasons.
But January feels like its own story.
Crisp mornings, sun-soaked afternoons, culture, heritage and the unmistakable rhythm of the Pink City.🌤️
January of Jaipur brings it all together through thoughtfully curated events, conversations, cultural experiences, food, art, literature and more, celebrating the city in all its hues.
A month. A city. Many stories waiting to unfold.
Welcome to January of Jaipur. ✨
