I hope everyone reads the report. Nothing could better demonstrate how far Amnesty has fallen than their demonisation of gay rights charities for refusing to adopt Amnesty’s approved gender beliefs, or their attack on a rape crisis centre because it is run by women, for women.
A new report has exposed the truth of the pro-Palestine marches. It is not a spontaneous movement made up of harmless charities. It is a dark web of opaque groups, motivated by a shared loathing of Israel. We must wake up, says Limor Simhony Philpott

There are wide margins of openness to an anti-Zionist screed in all three Houses of the General Synod of the Church of England.
Appallingly, the House of Bishops backed the motion to “hear” the notorious document titled ‘A Moment of Truth: Faith in a Time of Genocide’, produced by the agenda-driven ‘Kairos Palestine’ faction, by 25 votes to none, with five abstentions.
• The document denies Jewish indigenuity to the land of Israel.
Not one bishop objected.
• The document says that Zionism – the belief that Jews deserve a homeland of their own – represents “a colonial enterprise built on racism and the ideology of ethnic or religious superiority".
Not one bishop objected.
• The document asserts that “genocide is cumulative” and that Zionism is an inherently genocidal endeavour.
Not one bishop objected.
• The document claims that Christian Zionism is a “theology of racism, colonialism and ethnic supremacy”.
Not one bishop objected.
• The document seeks to downplay allegations of antisemitism – the refuge of so many who indulge in it – by “condemn[ing] all who exploit and support the charge of antisemitism to silence the Palestinian voice of truth”.
Not one bishop objected.
• The document seeks to define Jewish identity and distinguish good Jews from bad, arguing that Zionism and Judaism have become conflated (notwithstanding that only 6% of British Jews do not identify as Zionist) and warning that “this confusion has done great harm to Judaism itself and to its image worldwide”.
Not one bishop objected.
On and on it goes.
The Church’s quasi-endorsement of this document – and by such decisive margins – is a slap in the face to the Jewish community and undermines years of interfaith dialogue.
The irony is not lost that this debate and vote took place in York – the site of an infamous medieval Christian pogrom against English Jews, who were ostracised, persecuted and murdered in the name of Christian dogma.
At a time of surging antisemitism in Britain, the Church has tragically placed itself on the wrong side of that fight. Not for the first time.

A female body is observably organised to produce large gametes. There is nothing metaphysical about this definition. The presence of the equipment to produce eggs = female. It is irrelevant whether those gametes have ever been fertilised, irrelevant whether there is a biological anomaly that means gametes cannot be fertilised, or the female is too young or old to produce viable eggs. If the body is provably configured to produce eggs rather than sperm, the possessor of the body is female. All mammalian bodies are arranged to produce either eggs or sperm. There is no third gamete and there are no human hermaphrodites.
Link below to my interview with the Free Speech Union about the monstrous ‘Conversion Practices Bill’.
It is worse than I ever could have imagined.
It criminalises talking and poses an existential threat to parental, therapeutic and religious freedoms.
It must not become law.
I do not say this lightly: As a new and virulent strain of antisemitism spreads via algorithmic media and artificial intelligence, my life's work an an historian has been a failure. What now? A new essay with John-Clark Levin for @TheFP
On the day that Starmer said goodbye reminding us that his Premiership was built on ripping antisemitism out of his party, now is the time for someone in the church to stand up and do the same for us. These are very dark days for the Church of England.
Andy Burnham’s decision to discuss Gaza with Gary Lineker raises a revealing question: was this a serious attempt to address one of the world’s most complex conflicts, or yet another carefully chosen platform designed to avoid difficult scrutiny and signal fake virtue for the calculated benefit of a dangerous portion of the electorate?
The Government has announced a Bill to ban conversion practices that is so poorly and broadly drafted that it could see parents, therapists and religious leaders locked up for up to five years if they engage in well-intentioned conversations with gender-confused children or dare to share their faith’s teachings on sex, gender and marriage.
On this week’s episode of the FSU Podcast, FSU External Affairs Officer @_ConnieShaw sits down with therapist @JamesEsses.
The Minister for Equalities, Olivia Bailey MP, claims the Bill will not stop parents and therapists from talking openly to children with identity issues. She says it only criminalises conversion practices that are abusive and cause serious harm.
However, James Esses, who works with children who believe they are “trapped in the wrong body”, argues that the proposed new law puts him at risk of imprisonment.

It's a shameful day for the Church of England, says Julian Mann, as its General Synod passes an anti-Israel motion pledging to "engage with" what the Chief Rabbi calls a "shocking" document containing "so much falsehood". https://t.co/fAcUENWzub

For decades, the Church of England has fully embraced the exterminatory Palestinian Arab narrative against Israel and Zionism. Far worse, this narrative has kick-started the ancient Christian heresy of “replacement theology” or “supersessionism”, the murderous doctrine that lay behind the church’s persecution of the Jews in the Middle Ages.
That doctrine went underground after the Holocaust but has now appallingly been revived through being fused with the Palestinian cause.
I am Middle Eastern Christian who worked both as a missionary and as a volunteer in refugee centres in the region. What the CofE considers as a legitimate document is an utter antisemitic propaganda.
I feel ashamed to be a priest in this church today.
Kairos II brings the Church of England into disrepute, and tarnishes it once again with anti-Semitism. The synodal model of church has always been vulnerable to capture, but to read that 25 Bishops voted for the document with none against (and 5 abstentions) appalls me, though doesn't surprise me. The nomination of Bishops needs to be removed from the CNC and restored to No.10. Thousands of us in the pews reject utterly the assertion: “We consider the State of Israel, established in 1948, to be a continuation of that same colonial enterprise built on racism and the ideology of ethnic or religious superiority.” I am ashamed that such a statement could possibly be received or heard in the General Synod. Ichabod.
A militant transgender group is telling supporters to physically harm ‘transphobic’ politicians. Palestine activists are routinely targeting businesses and even attacking police. It’s time to talk about left-wing violence, says Joanna Williams

How did Amnesty International go from championing the rights of political prisoners to championing the right of men to use women’s bathrooms?
