Great to see former OEOI chief Idowu interviewed on @javawithJimmy.
The part of the interview cued here was particularly interesting: A look inside Boston's planning for FIFA, with a [Kraft-stacked] Boston 2026 host committee that was falling far short. https://t.co/DlbAn2nccI
Much appreciation to @javawithJimmy for the shout-out today.
For a few yrs now, Jimmy and I have been discussing cronyism, exclusivity, the sprinkling of breadcrumbs to whitewash inequities, and any number of related issues in Boston.
I'm incredibly grateful for our friendship.
On this Juneteenth, let's continue to move Boston towards a more perfect future.
My recommendation, topical w/local news:
Perhaps nonprofits tapping *significant* funds from developers can ask, "did we compete for these benefits transparently?"
Who continues to be left behind?
