The Grizzlies were the only team to vote against the new anti-tanking rules and changes to the NBA Draft Lottery, per @ShamsCharania.

Memphis voted no because of the new rule that does not allow a team from picking top 5 in 3 consecutive years.

The Grizzlies own the Jazz’s 2027 first-round pick but because the Jazz have the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft, and selected Ace Bailey with the No. 5 pick last year, their first in 2027 cannot be in the top-5 because of changes.
