Our latest study just published in @jbiolchem reveals a hidden druggable pocket or target area in the cancer-associated protein CLIC1. The research team lead by Dr Sam, Group Leader, Structural Biology Group @ICGEBNewDelhi , also identified a small molecule that locks CLIC1 in its soluble form, preventing its membrane insertion and slowing colorectal cancer cell growth.
