Today, I bid farewell to an elderly brother, a patriot, and a distinguished freedom fighter, Gen. Moses Ali (RIP). Ours was a friendship forged over time of shared service to Uganda. He frequently visited my home in Bugolobi, and I often visited him at his ancestral home in Adjumani and in Kampala. I vividly remember when he collapsed in Adjumani in 2001. I immediately dispatched my aircraft LET 410 to airlift him to Entebbe, arranged an ambulance to Mulago Hospital, where an emergency neurosurgical operation successfully removed a blood clot from his brain, giving him a new lease on life. We later served together in cabinet & NRM CEC, with him representing Northern Uganda and me Eastern Uganda. It was also my honour to speak at the launch of his book, The Nubian Dynasty. Uganda has lost a courageous son, but I have lost a cherished friend. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
In a Facebook post circulating Josephat Seguya alleges artist jose Chameleone did a DNA test and found one of the children not his.
Chameleone in a disturbed tone has responded ; He wrote…
“I AM VERY DEVASTATED BY THIS FALSE ALLEGATION MR SEGUYA!!!!!! You might pay a very big price whilst looking for attention!!!! YOU ARE SLOWLY OPENING A CAN OF WORMS.
THIS NOT TRUE!!.
You have taken your Lies really far and I guess we are going to Deal with this in court!!
STOP YOUR MALICIOUS ALLEGATIONS RIGHT NOW!!!! “

This evening at State House Entebbe, I met the first NRM Caucus of the 12th Parliament and welcomed the endorsement of Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth as candidate for Speaker and Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa as candidate for Deputy Speaker.
I congratulated them and reminded the Caucus that since the inception of the NRM, we have rejected bad politics. When choosing leaders, we must first ask what needs to be done for the people before asking who should do it. Politics must reject identity, religion, tribalism and gender chauvinism, and instead focus on solving people’s problems. Our priority remains wealth creation and social- economic transformation through productive engagement in agriculture, services, artisanship and ICT.
When legends touch the stage, the whole crowd feels it 🙌🏾
@JChameleone performing live at Africa Forward Le Concert was pure nostalgia, energy and timeless music all in one 🎶❤️
And yes… Classic 105 has been giving these hits the love they deserve for years 😌

I have received my brother, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, at State House Entebbe together with his delegation, ahead of the swearing-in ceremony tomorrow.
I warmly welcome him and wish him a fruitful stay as we continue to strengthen the historic brotherly ties and cooperation between our two countries.
In my third meeting at Entebbe, I received my brother, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who has joined us for tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony.
I appreciate his visit and the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation that continues to strengthen the relations between Uganda and Somalia . I warmly welcome him to Uganda and wish him a fruitful stay.
At State House Entebbe, I met Mr. Nick Checker, the Senior Bureau Official in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs, who is representing President Donald Trump at tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony, together with his delegation.
I emphasized the need for value addition and industrialisation across Africa. We cannot continue exporting raw materials such as coffee, oil and minerals without processing them. Value addition is crucial for expanding Africa’s GDP, creating jobs and increasing the purchasing power of our people.
I welcome him to Uganda and wish him a fruitful stay.
