My 16 & 14 year old kids just came home and told me (a former PC Party Candidate), that they were instructed on the announcements at school to convince their families to Vote Liberal because it’s better for class sizes and their education. I’m not happy about it.

@JIMrichards1010 Just saying "religion" is not right. I was baptized in the CRC and I can tell you this is not how they do it. Most churches that baptize babies sprinkle a little water on their head. Whatever this is is insane!

@RoArquette There is always someone worse off, that does not mean our problems in Canada are not real. Some people cannot afford the gas they need to go to work. Rental prices are sky-high, groceries are climbing everyday. Tell your neighbour who may be facing homelessness to suck it up?

@JodiKoberinski @TextbookAmI Well "listen" yourself. I was in China in 2005, and 2012, Shanghai, Beijing, and Nanchang. Maybe they masked up hard during SARS in 2003, but when I went it was not very common to see masks.

The man in the store with a the mask under his nose, the woman walking in pulling a used mask out of her pocket and putting it on, they are respected for "doing the right thing" even though it doesn't work.

@JodiKoberinski @TextbookAmI Nope, sorry, kids are at low risk. Last year my friend was told that 20 yrs olds were dropping dead. When I pointed out the stats the person doing the fear-mongering got angry that I was "spewing stats".

@JodiKoberinski @TextbookAmI Ok, as for #2, this has been being said for the last 2 years "this new variant is impacting young people" with every new strain, we hear this and the stats say otherwise. And #1, it is unfair to put that burden on kids, it's not their job to keep others safe.
