🌀 Sunsetting Jediswap
After much reflection, we’ve decided to wind down Jediswap.
It’s been an incredible journey—and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who’s been part of it.

Why?
Tokens have always been the best tool to align large groups of believers around a mission and win together. For founders, they’ve been the fastest way to capture markets.

But so far, every attempt at token launches has come with broken mechanisms.
They had misaligned incentives that attract short-term traders and mercenary airdrop farmers, not long-term backers.

And worse, they attracted scammers launching and dumping tokens on community, instead of long term founders.

That’s why we’re building gmtribe, a place where you can discover and back serious founders building future unicorns, and win together.

Story:
I got into crypto in 2017 by a fortunate accident of reading the Bitcoin whitepaper and Sapiens at the same time. It made me realize that finance is the ultimate coordination layer of humanity, and crypto tokens can make it radically more efficient.

Since then, I’ve been building on this belief.
In 2018, I co-founded Mudrex (now India’s 2nd largest exchange), helping millions trade tokens.

In 2021, I started Jediswap(a DEX on Starknet), and we built a large community of believers who helped us capture 80% of market.

Jediswap experience inspired us to build gmtribe. A platform to help founders build an army of believers and help them capture markets.

Insight 1:
Over the past year, we explored all existing token designs to align founders and communities, but found multiple flaws:

⚖️ Token holders faced rug risks, and token governance slowed founders down.
💨 Airdrops and launchpads attracted tourists.
📉 SAFE + token rounds turned communities into exit liquidity.

Then we saw MetaDAO’s Futarchy implementation with public sales, and we were immediately inspired.

Combining prediction-market-led governance with ICO-style raises made perfect sense for early-stage startups:

✅ Helps founders move fast
🌍 Democratizes access for anyone to invest early
🛡️ Removes incentives for scammers launching tokens
🤝 Aligns incentives between founders and token holders

Futarchy 101:
In Futarchy, every proposal creates two markets, one for “pass” and one for “fail.”
- If you think a proposal will increase token value, you buy tokens in the “pass” market or sell in the “fail” market.
- If you think it’ll hurt the project, you sell in the “pass” market or buy in the “fail” market.

The result? Stakeholders decide what’s best for the project by putting their money where their mouth is.

It helps DAOs move faster, investors express conviction, and tokens flow toward true believers.
