@_AshleyRichmond Up your professional alley is Endure by Alex Hutchinson. Devil in the Grove by Gilbert King is educational and heartbreaking. And while it doesn't meet the 'inspiring' criteria, Seabiscuit by Lauren Hillenbrand is just plain good.
@_AshleyRichmond I was digging footers with grandfather, complaining and constantly trying to come up with easier ways to do it (tools we didn't have, etc) and he finally said, "Son, sometimes you just have to dig the f-ing hole."
