The removal of the rebate for private health insurance for people over 65, is grossly unfair.
The rebate should have been means tested.
Many seniors are low income or on pensions.
Their health insurance is often their biggest expense which they struggle to keep.

Free public transport for April a good move given petrol shortage and cost.
But it hopefully will be used to encourage people to go to work, eat out and to shop.
Otherwise there will be massive layoffs in the next few weeks that will help noone!

Good decision by the AFL re the time of the Grand Final.
Yes a football game,but very much a family day.

Even if the straight was opened tomorrow, the impact will have a long and costly tail unfortunately.
That is why in part those who can use free public transport should go to work to support businesses that rely on people traffic.

@bombermurray11 @Twinkocalypse Not only did the sports clubs get new facilities, but we reconditioned the park lands in the whole area, and totally cleaned the lake.
And there is more..
We attracted the F1 to Victoria attracting financial and reputational value to the State.

I do not know where you get 350 schools closed.
A third of all State schools!
The only schools we closed were those had been physically negleted by Labor, or where studets were in so low numbers their total education was not to the standards required.

We need people tp eat, shop and work over the next few weeks otherwise there will be massive layoffs in restaurants and retail businesses
