The audience at the @StrazCenter was starving for Phil’s buffet of goodness and warmth and stories of the people he’s met through their food.

The number of children in the audience was thrilling.

It’s finally safe for young ones to join in at the TV food travel table.

Five minutes before showtime at the @StrazCenter last night, I get a knock on my dressing room door. @PhilRosenthal pokes his head in and gently says, “It’s no good unless you share.”

So I shared a @Columbia1905 Cuban and devil crab with him.

Sharing at the table and on TV appears to be his modus operandi. @SharonKWn and I spent 90 minutes at dinner doing just that with him.

@PhilRosenthal’s request to our outstanding server, Dan, “Bring us whatever you would like us to eat.” Then we all took nibbles family style.
