After 14 years of flying and 6 years as an aerial firefighter, I made one of the hardest and scariest decisions of my life to hang up my flight helmet and start a new adventure.

By the grace of God, I’ve been blessed to make it through 14 years of flying without a single incident. This job has taken me to all 48 lower states, Alaska, Guam, and American Samoa, and given me memories and experiences I’ll carry with me forever.

Flying has taught me a lot about life, but one lesson has always stuck with me and ultimately helped me make this decision: GO WITH YOUR GUT.

Here’s to new adventures and whatever comes next. 🤘
