🚨Long Post🚨
I turned 34 last month.
This is my 6th year in the industry.
This is my 3rd year working fulltime either with one company or various gigs.
I’ve met so many names and been to a lot of places and the one thing that I’ve never regretted and am most proud of is being myself ALL the time. On a podcast, at an expo, in a DM, in my content, I’m authentically me. You know that something was made by ME right away.
Many do not know this (and it’s probably obvious now that you do) I’m AuDHD. I’m a “high energy” person because focus (and hyper focus) can be a problem. I’m extremely open, honest, with 0 filter. I struggle letting others dictate my content, schedule changes, and being overly detailed. I can be extremely difficult to work with because I’m hyper critical, honest, and straight up off putting. Nobody asks more questions or picks at problems in a work meeting like me.
I find these things to only be a side effect of a super power. I’m funny and never scared to say anything to anyone. The only shame I feel is when I feel like I can’t do something. The only fear I have is never doing.
I’m never worried about my content “sticking out” because all I’ve worked on is improving the best version of myself.
I’m never worried about the quality of my work long term because I’m overly worried about the quality of my work short term from the moment I open a pod until the thumbnail.
So many in this industry (both high up and newcomers) either don’t make it or find themselves unhappy because they focus on others. Whether it idol worship or hating, we end up letting OTHERS define us. We let people on apps who don’t REALLY know us make you sad.
We follow hypes and trends so religiously that we forget that hypes and trends are temporary. Moreover, we let the things we love become the things we hate. We create these fake rivalries and grievances that just come from lack of understanding, communication, or jealousy. We water ourselves down instead of taking in things that enhance our flavor.
So in 2026:
Be yourself. Find ways to make the YOU better. Be inspired but let that inspiration be salt that enhances your flavor instead of someone else’s sauce that masks it.
Love what we do. We talk about a game about a game.
Be unafraid to talk to someone. I’ve personally been off putting every time I’ve met Matt Harmon and I plan on doing it again because that’s just who I am. But I’d never have met him had I been afraid.
If you have a strong feeling about someone, talk to THEM. Chances are, it’s just misunderstanding.
The world is full of algos, AI, and tends. Authenticity last forever. Have fun and happy football.

Try clicking this link and see if it lets you download and sign up. As long as you have an Apple ID it should work. If you don't have an Apple ID we can get you into the web only version instead

The mech shop is separate from the pick membership so probably not the same. Do you have an iPhone? Or do you usually use the web for X and everything else?
