Great article showcasing @orygen_aus innovative #VirtualReality research program - https://t.co/5nwIMV3Fl0 - privileged to have a front row seat to ECRs @RoosPotKolder and @imo_bell leadership in this space
Everyone read this thread ❤️@DavidCMohr is not only a leader in #DigitalMentalHealth at the forefront of thinking in the field, but is a terrific mentor and fun to work with! Want in on this awesome supportive environment? https://t.co/N8MnKfhqLp
I’m grateful to have colleagues like @EGLattie who uplift and support you in a “competitive” environment. The learning was definitely a two way street - with much more knowledge traffic coming from Emily!
A great whirlwind around @Lucia_Valmaggia and team’s impressive and expansive #VR work across mental health training, prevention, treatment, and mechanism research! Some thoughts about #implementation challenges - tech updates and clinician training @orygen_aus
The potential of #VR is that it’s so broadly applicable. Training programs by @Lucia_Valmaggia also address GP unconscious bias and discrimination. Literally allowing people to ‘walk in others shoes’ to better understand the experiences of others.
Right back at you @KMD_research - we did it! #ASBDD22 Thanks @AustralBipolDep exec for the support - look forward to the 9th biannual conf where we can just attend ;)
I would definitely recommend co-convening a conference with someone as awesome as @jenmnicholas1!! Proud of us, and the rest of our fabulous exec at @AustralBipolDep#ASBDD22
Insightful keynote at #ASBDD22 from @profrnb talking abt the need to rethink how we think about (and evaluate) psychological intervention (inc #digital) - bring a complex intervention lens. Great further rationale for our approach @MarioAlvarezJi1@orygen_aus
Threats: Evaluation paradigm fit-for-purpose. Being nieve to tmt is key to pharma RCTs, but not psychotherapies. Psychological interventions are fundamentally different - why are we using the same methodology? is the answer in complex intervention evaluation? #ABSDD22@profrnb
