For the UK parliament:

Let's say 10,000 Brits had been slaughtered by terrorists. Let's also say 2000 were held captive.

And let's say the British armed forces were doing everything possible to get them back & defeat the barbaric terrorists.

Now imagine some other country - far away - decided to hold a vote about a ceasefire - calling on us to stop. As if it had anything to do with them.

Not a good look right? We'd be angry? We'd be insulted & We would tell them to mind their own business?
