Been on/off epilepsy meds for 17yrs, cant drive, daily seizures and neuros now want to say its FND not epilepsy 🤔
Diabetes, Asthma, Long Covid, ME/CFS, MCAS, HIV, Crohn's, etc.
If someone takes medication or moderates activity or controls diet or avoids triggers, they may remain in what appears a healthy state while always at risk from relapse or collapse.
@lammas_leaves@sunsopeningband@Naomi_D_Harvey@angryhacademic Unsure about research but know of 3 women in their 30s who had CFS diagnosis' prior to 2020 but after a major health crash following a C19 infection 3yrs ago they were told they have FND and just accepted it without a fight/second opinion
So, Covid hospitalizations in UK jumped 500% in one month?
Huh 🤔
In September?
Just as kids go back to school?
Just as adults go back to work?
Just in time for respiratory season?
Huh 🤔
I miss pre 2019 parenting, where my kid was rarely off school sick, now she (and her pals) are off/sick so often its exhausting ruling out if its an AnE worthy event (thankfully not yet) or AuADHD burnout or stress or just another leg of the ongoing C19/LC
Patients often describe how their brain feels swollen, their skull feels full, or that something is pushing from inside. The striking feature is how frequently - though not always - patients localize the sensation to the occipital region.

It's late 2026.
In the world of education, the narrative has been dominated by universal themes for six years:
Attendance;

Engagement
Emotional regulation
and
SEND.
Going over family history with my dad, he was shocked both his grandfathers died younger than he is now
I pointed out their fathers lived into their 70s-80s
Only difference is his grandfathers were toddlers/kids during the outbreak of the Spanish Flu...
The last time I had Covid I took 3 lateral flows within half an hour. My temperature was 39.8, my heart rate 150, so I knew I had something & a Covid wave was happening at the time. First 2 tests negative. Totally negative. 3rd test bright red positive.
@CovidSolidarit1 What really hit me hard was when I was expressing my concern to staff of my late mother's care home of them infecting her by not masking. The response I got? "You couldn't prove it was us that infected her". No concern or care for my mum or the other residents at all.
🔴 Imagine a clueless physio or OT ACP is in charge of your care when you need urgent MEDICAL HELP.
⭕️This is the future of the NHS.
⭕️Seeing a doctor will be a luxury in light of the proliferation of quacks.
Russia's plague outbreak is getting worse, now with 5 hospitals in Irkutsk quarantined, universities canceling classes and accusations from healthcare workers that the government is attempting a media cover-up.
Nearly 200 contacts of a 28-year-old anti-plague laboratory worker who died last week are reportedly under isolation or medical observation.
Irkutsk universities are canceling classes citing a “case of pneumonic plague,” while an aluminum plant introduced mandatory masks. A local government warning advising residents not to travel to Shelekhov was published and later deleted.
Healthcare workers claim doctors are discussing plague internally while avoiding the diagnosis in official documents.
Russian health authorities continue to deny any plague outbreak, attributing the woman's death to “pneumonia of unknown origin.”
Pneumonic plague is far worse that it's Bubonic cousin as its transmitted directly between humans.
I had mild partial lung collapse and it took a year of Lung physiotherapy to breathe properly again. I also suffered tachycardia and ended up in a&e a few weeks after being diagnosed with Covid. That’s where I ended up with the Flu. Now I have LC and ME.
