2/2 Today was tough as we laid my mom to rest during a private family burial. While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the many memories we shared with her. We plan to host a Celebration of Life & will share details once plans are finalized.

While Suzy-Q will be missed dearly, the positive impact she’s had on the many people who knew and loved her will live on like a bright shining star!

3/4 She definitely taught me how to be thrifty. From garage sales to dumpster diving to bargain shopping, I learned how to barter with the best of them from my mom. She taught me to get out there, live every moment, and not to take sh*t from anyone!

2/4 - …from my mom, including the importance of persistence. She taught me that no doesn't always mean no, but rather, it means you must find a different path to yes. She taught me that you don’t know if you don’t ask. She taught me that if I wanted something, I had to earn it.

1/4 - It’s with deep sadness I share that my mom passed away this morning. She has been struggling with dementia and her health has been declining rapidly over the last few months.

My mom played an instrumental role in helping me become the person I am today. I learned so much…

Big Jer & I were invited to the @Vikings facility to celebrate Minnesota’s selection to host the 2028 NFL Draft. We heard from Coach Kevin O'Connon and new GM Nolan Teasley. My dad was pushing hard for a tryout opportunity! I’m excited for the 2026 season & 2028 NFL Draft! #Skol

Janel & I spent three days in Gulf Shores, AL enjoying the Gulf of America to celebrate 16 years in the Senate, two real estate deals, including our largest commercial purchase to date, & each other!

We of course got some work done too, because after all, we never stop working.
