@mike_reader I’d hope they mean that you have great empathy and emotional intelligence, which can be typecast as female traits (when they are just traits of successful leaders). Or that you’re just not a marauding douche canoe like so many men are in our industry. One of those two.
The latest episode of the Red Review has been released this morning, this time on the subject of winning work for SME businesses with Gareth Morgan of Bid for Success

@davejphendy Concerned that the EU don’t seem to understand the contractual term ‘best endeavours’. It means we’ll do our best. AZ doing their best, but unlike the UK where we worked with our best minds and best supplier to industrialise a solution, the EU stood back, dithering.
@mike_reader 😊. It’s an area I feel quite strongly about. You wouldn’t buy shares in a big firm run by ex-tabloid Journalists and fly by night chancers. Why the fuck is the country run by them? We need a truth, fact and competence revolution.
@mike_reader But no, it would be nice to see Labour with some grass roots folk in the mix, but that can’t be a determining factor. You need industry leaders, lawyers, engineers (we really need engineers in there!) accountants etc.
