Happy to get this in the mail today! Thank you @SIU_PAProf and Ed Stazyk for inviting me to contribute a chapter to this great @ElgarPublishing handbook!!
I had a great afternoon with the OCED taking about on my work on stress and engagement published @PPMgmtJournal. It is so fun to share my research with practitioners and see how issues of engagement, mental health, and well being are being studied in PSOs around the world 😇
A grabbed this to accompany me on my wait to pick up a passport at a local gov office.
It's only taken 3 tries, almost 5 months, and double the cost it should have been..... the irony of my selected reading material is not lost 😂
@oneumann_ch @WouterVdab@JessBreaugh Thank you very much Oliver! I still remember the presentation of the first paper in Budapest... Hope to see you soon and chat a bit. Looks like everything is fine 🙂
Yet another fantastic and fun collaboration with @Guillem_Ripoll. We empirically test new theoretical developments of PSM using a survey experiment. We met @IRSPM in 2016. 3 publications later, we are still collaborating on all things #Motivation 😁
🤔What is the essence of PSM?
🧑🔬Inspired on works by @oneumann_ch, Carina Schott, Adrian Ritz, @WouterVdab... @JessBreaugh and I find that PSM predicts higher preference for doing non-identified work tasks.
💡The results support most recent conceptualizations of PSM
Hot off the press! @JessBreaugh & @Guillem_Ripoll conduct a #vignette#experiment with 1512 subjects & provide empirical evidence to differentiating #PSM from likeminded concepts. PSM is mainly oriented to society at large rather than individual users https://t.co/SWab4A8SYD

Are PSM and prosocial motiv equally related to ethics? What are the implications for public and nonprofit sectors?
In a new chapter, @JessBreaugh and I articulate some answers and provide avenues for further research. Of course, empirical studies need to test our arguments! 🧑🔬⚠️
Check out this fantastic book on Motivation in PA, with contributions from so many Rockstar researchers 🤘. @Guillem_Ripoll and I write about ethics in the public and non profit sectors in Ch. 21 too 😉.
