@chrisbriem I normally enjoy sitting on my porch watching attempts especially on Saturday, but the cars within view have seriously not moved since Thursday. And I don't recognize most of them as neighbors' cars. Have you been up today? How crowded is it? I need to grab dinner.
@chrisbriem It would have been fun to say hi! It was as crowded as a Saturday, tonight! And last night was as crowded as a typical LID Friday. I hope the local businesses that stayed open/set up tents, etc. are raking it in.
@SteelCityClaire@chrisbriem From what I understand, at least some of it was parishioners' willingness (or lack thereof) to consider consolidation, w both camps believing theirs was the superior facility. And I do get it... Churches are sites of significant milestones and memories. But now both are gone.
@chrisbriem I feel like I never read this full thread until now. Great info! Any updates on what will be of the lot? A friend badly wanted the gate that says convent but I don't think she was ever able to snatch it from the demo site.
@chrisbriem I went tonight near closing (thinking they were open until 11 but not anymore) and said to my daughter that we won’t be able to go back until the college move in crowd clears.
@chrisbriem This specific push poll focused on a wealth tax and TIF. But they also always feel out who among local politicos may be vulnerable to a primary challenge.
@chrisbriem I was also thinking this. Like how the city outside of downtown/north shore was a ghost town during the Draft, because everyone will used public transit or stayed home.
@chrisbriem Truly worse than the vape shops and worse than the check cashing places before them. Gives me nostalgia for when I thought there were too many tanning places and dollar stores on liberty.
@chrisbriem The interstate detour is gonna be such a mess, and the local detours are not much better. The eastbound local detour takes folks down Browns Hill Road, where it goes single lane before the bridge, causing traffic all the way up the hill, even without any parkway closure.
Last week, I was on @KDKA#TalkPittsburgh with @KDKAHeather and @MikeyHoodKDKA to talk about recent changes to Google search and search engine alternatives that folks may want to consider. Check it out: https://t.co/6zWxSDbbaf
