Because they told us they are human like us, not God like Jesus. And they told us specifically that the one we can worship will come, and he indeed came.

Deuteronomy 18:15,18-19

[15]The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

[18]I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

[19]And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Psalms 110:1
[1](Psalm of David.) The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Isaiah 9:6
[6]For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

A mighty God and everlasting father specifically indicates Jesus is God and should be worship. He is not like the other prophets.

Daniel 7:13-14
[13]I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

[14]And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

The section that says "all people, nations, and languages, should serve him" Includes Muslims. You not serving him is a disobedience to the father, and you will be cast away from God on the last day.

God wants everyone to be subjected to the the authority and lordship of Jesus, so that when everything is said and done, Jesus will also subject himself to the authority of God, so that God will be the all in all. If all lives subject themselves to jesus, and Jesus subjects himself to God, then it means all lives are subjected to God.

Meaning, God created everything through Jesus, and that makes sense if he wants everything he created to be subjected to him through Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:23-28

[23]But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

[24]Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

[25]For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

[26]The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

[27]For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

[28]And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Jesus remains as mighty God, till he destroys all enemy agenda, and after that will subject himself and everyone else to the father

Yes, the essence is the Kingdom of God with Christ as King. Jesus came proclaiming and establishing His reign, calling people to repent, believe, and live under His direct authority—not to launch another ritual-heavy religion.

While "Christianity" is often labeled a religion today due to institutions and traditions that developed, the New Testament centers on relationship, allegiance, and citizenship in His kingdom. This keeps faith anchored in Him rather than human additions.
