“ICE is an affront to Torah.”
Hundreds of rabbis, cantors, and Jewish leaders turned out to a massive protest outside ICE headquarters in Washington DC.
Organized by T'ruah and Bend the Arc, it was the largest-ever Jewish faith protest against ICE.
Watch highlights below:
"This ruling is a catastrophic loss. Our nation's TPS holders are our neighbors, family members, fellow congregants, and coworkers — they are our fellow Americans."

Brand Lander knows that Jewish safety is inextricably linked to the safety of all of our neighbors.
We’ve been proud to stand with him, including at Bend the Arc actions in the streets. And we can’t wait to see him in Congress.
Mazel tov to our friend @bradlander on winning his election in NY-10!
Brad is a steadfast, moral, and powerful Jewish voice who shares our vision of a country where all are safe and free.
I’m walking into court to fight for your rights. Trump wants to lock me up for 17 years for doing my job, conducting oversight of ICE and holding this administration accountable.
The fight is hard, but if DHS wants to terrorize NJ-10, they’re going to have to answer to me first.

This Wednesday, join to commemorate the yarzheit of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner and the legacy of Jewish and American activists who fought for our freedoms and to launch our national Jewish 2026 election protection program.

The @NYCMayor spoke out against the influence of AIPAC, as he speaks about the influence of all anti democratic and corporate lobbies opposing the will of voters.
Jonathan Greenblatt conflating Jews with AIPAC is what's fueling antisemitism here.
It's been three days since Mayor Mamdani took the stage to demonize and denigrate his Jewish constituents. I initially didn’t say anything because I felt certain he would retract his incendiary comments or at least explain them.
I was wrong.
This is the kind of bigoted conspiracy mongering that you expect from unhinged streamers or white supremacists. It’s not the language that we should expect from the mayor whose jurisdiction suffers from the highest levels of antisemitism of any city in America.
This is not a principled disagreement. This is prejudice pure and simple.
It is deliberate, dangerous and disgraceful.
(RNS) — Progressive Jewish advocacy organizations condemn what they view as a misguided attempt to fight antisemitism by targeting Palestinian permanent residents, such as Salah Sarsour. https://t.co/lXR6cJFCts
On Juneteenth, the murders of Goodman, Chaney, and Schwerner, and when the law is not enough.
We can’t assume that our rights will protect us. Instead, we have to assume that we must fight to protect our rights.
And even when we make progress, we cannot stop fighting for it.
Today’s court order is a welcome and long-overdue step toward justice for Salah Sarsour, a respected Muslim community leader whose detention has caused immense pain to his family and community. No one should be punished for their faith, advocacy, or identity. We urge ICE to immediately comply with the judge’s order, reunite Mr. Sarsour with his loved ones, and end the disturbing pattern of targeting Muslim, Palestinian, and other community members for detention and intimidation. This case is a reminder that due process, human dignity, and constitutional rights must never be optional.
We congratulate Munjed Ahmed and @MLFA for their efforts in the case.
While JD Vance and his buddies in the Trump regime were fueling the machinery of antisemitism, @RepTomSuozzi was meeting with our members (his Jewish constituents) to hear our actual concerns about antisemitism and the Federal assault on our immigrant neighbors.
We disagree with Rep. Suozzi plenty, but throwing around accusations of antisemitism does nothing to make Jews safe. Trump needs to stop using our community for his political gain.
As Jews, we will not be used as Trump’s excuse to deport people without due process and erode the democracy that keeps all of us safe.
Free Salah Sarsour.
Add your name to join Jews across the country demanding that Salah Sarsour be released from custody and returned to his family immediately with his green card intact.

Once again, Republicans in Congress passed legislation to further fund ICE and Border Patrol.
This time not just for a year, but through the entire remainder of Trump’s presidency. And horrifyingly, they added a special extra fund for attacking cities that don’t cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
This is a shanda — a shame, a scandal, a disgrace for the ages

For too long, Amazon has been taking the benefits of being Amazon (tax breaks, government contracts) with none of the accountability (worker and climate abuse).
We are Amazon for this, we are not Amazon for that. New York City is no longer falling for it, and other cities should follow.
Amazon sets the routes, the quotas, the uniforms, the cameras — and then tells workers they don't actually work for Amazon. Every delivery worker in this city should be able to afford to live here and have their rights respected.
Workers deserve better.
