Strengthening NATO & Defence Cooperation
Chief of Defence Command Finland, Lieutenant General Vesa Virtanen, recently visited JFC Naples to reinforce key defence partnerships.
During the visit, Lt. Gen. Virtanen met with Admiral George Wikoff, Commander of JFC Naples.
Their discussions focused on NATO collective defence & European security, bilateral cooperation between Finland, Italy, and the U.S., and crisis management operations.
Lt. Gen. Virtanen highlighted the visit as a vital step in bringing collective defence and bilateral ties together for a stronger Europe.

Allied Joint Force Command Naples welcomed Hon Nazario Pagano, President of the Italian Parliament's Constitutional Affairs Committee, on Monday, April 13, at JFC Naples in Lago Patria, Italy.

The visit included an information session regarding JFC Naples' operations and the mission of the NATO Hub for the South. Following the briefing Hon. Pagano and JFCNP Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Rodolfo Sganga addressed Italian military and civilian personnel at the base.
