In Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, many live without adequate access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services. Preventing diarrheal diseases depends on residents’ own awareness and behavior change.
JICA and UNICEF discussed cooperation in health, education, WASH, and nutrition to support communities affected by humanitarian crises, including ways to leverage Japanese technology and innovation.
#JICA President Tanaka met with H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, Chair of the Board of GPE (@GPforEducation) on July 14.
