Quit my job a year ago to start a local news site called London Centric. Broke a load of stories that bigger outlets rip off. No investors/ads. Amazingly, people paid to subscribe and it might just work. Here’s what I’ve been up to if you're intrigued. https://t.co/U9a9BM669v
@jomickane Don’t steal my video, put a spin on it, and take the credit so you can boost your blue tick income. Don’t claim someone should look into it when actual journalists have been doing so for years. Follow the original source on a vaguely functioning site. https://t.co/FKl5kfzGOF

Who keeps crashing cars at speed into the front of this Tesco Express in east London?
It’s happened four times in the last three weeks.
It looks like a robbery - but London Centric has learned nothing is stolen and it appears to be the same driver. https://t.co/IgLYmlPdzH
He's one of Britain's richest men. So why does Asif Aziz's property company keep leasing London gift shops to overseas students based in abandoned offices or flytipped car parks — before vanishing without paying millions of pounds in taxes? https://t.co/YTFTu2Zpcz

Bookswap libraries are returning to the London Underground after six weeks of negotiations between Sadiq Khan, TfL and the London Fire Brigade and following the purchase of fire safe cabinets.... but only at above ground stations for now (so not the inner London tube stations).
If you've spent any time on social media over the last month in the UK you've probably seen a load of adverts for this Omaze house near Borough Market in London. But what's the secret history behind the building? And how was it, until recently, a council house? 🧵
A decade later, Omaze claim it's worth £4.5m (although it appears it failed to sell for two years at £5m asking price) and it's a dream home for millions. If you want to read the full story, click here (£/free trial): https://t.co/FWmdEfimFf
We've obtained multiple sets of video from four different attacks in London, showing how the gang methodically deface suburban streets with red paint and motor oil. If you want to view it, sign-up to London Centric — free trial available here: https://t.co/QlMVFFqGhv
Is an organised crime gang carrying out an intimidation campaign with red paint across suburban London? London Centric has the first video of the mysterious gang targeting properties across the capital with "brothel" graffiti. 🧵
London Centric has had a reporter on this for the last week. We obtained CCTV footage which, when analysed by native Mandarin speakers, suggests the gang operating in London has accents from northern China. The impact on residents is enormous.
