@JerryDipot @cougsgo @PuckSports @UW_MBB @CoachBeard @CityofSeattle Ask yourself the same question about Russo, Nance, and Hopkins? What was it about those three that made them a bad fit for UW. All three had a lot of success elsewhere, before UW.

Some have been very poor fits for UW, such as Nance, Hopkins, and Russo. Some have been excellent, like Winter, Harshman, and especially Romar. Bender made mistakes, but corrected in time.

I've been to all three places and grew up in Seattle. Thanks for sharing your opinions, but a coach at UW has to be able to captivate the local community, especially local kids.
