VC, LCMA, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Shah (JKAS), today visited Hazratbal and adjoining areas to review Eid-ul-Azha cleanliness and lake cleaning operations. Directions issued for round the clock monitoring. Public urged not to dump qurbani waste into lakes, drains or water bodies.

On World Biodiversity Conservation Day, JKLCMA organized an awareness programme at Hadura village on biodiversity conservation and sustainable farming. In collaboration with NAFED, 250 kgs of organic fertilizer were distributed among local farmers.

Led by Vice Chairman Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, the officers and officials of the J&K LCMA collectively recited the Preamble. This act reaffirmed their commitment to the foundational values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

He also directed acquired land to be developed into eco-friendly recreational spots, emphasized controlling sewage inflow, and prioritized cleaning navigational channels. A strong step towards heritage preservation & sustainable tourism.
