If you're one of the blathering talking heads who trumpeted Bob Lee's killing as a random act of wanton violence, you owe it to the public to correct yourselves with the truth.

This makes me wonder if ppl who have worked in clothing retail take that folding knowledge with them for the rest of their lives. Like straight muscle memory to the grave.
Finally - this is the Kamala Harris I know from her years in San Francisco. Glad this side of her is finally getting national media coverage https://t.co/JyLlXpwQE4

REST IN PEACE RYUICHI SAKAMOTO
“Here am I, a lifetime away from you...”
Sad to learn of the passing of actor, composer, and producer @ryuichisakamoto. The renowned Japanese artist passed on Tuesday 28th March aged 71.
He won awards - including an Oscar, a Grammy and Bafta - for his work as a solo artist and as a member of the Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO).
He co-starred in the film Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence with David Bowie in 1983, and today’s lyric quotation is from the song Forbidden Colours (a vocal version of the main theme) which he performed and composed with David Sylvian for the film’s soundtrack.
David and Ryuichi are seen here in a picture taken in Japan by Denis O'Regan in 1983.

For the past few months, the @sfchronicle Editorial Board has been wrestling with the question of what the state of California could — and should — do to help prevent downtown San Francisco from collapsing.
Here’s our argument for the future of SF: ⬇️

RIP-Ryuichi Sakamoto. His beautiful work in the Yellow Magic Orchestra and beyond showed me how to incorporate emotion and feelings into electronic music.
