Very sorry to hear about Coach Roger Cador’s passing. I played against his teams in college then coached against him, as did my dad before me. He devoted his life to young men and represented our state at a local & national level. I’ll miss our chats. Thanks for being you, Coach!

Bigger than baseball, Kirsch-Rooney is named for two locals who died in World War II, Cy Kirsch and Bob Rooney. No baseball this weekend, but for 69 seasons it’s been a daily reminder of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the little things we enjoy every day.
