When self contain was 400k in Maitama,
500sqm was 600k in Lugbe and 800k in Kukwaba
Cement was not up to 3k then
Self con in Karu site was 100k then. Clean one
Now, self contain in Maitama is 2-4m
350sqm in Idu or Wasa Apo is 5-7m
If you like, no buy house
Dey stay town
This.
If you are selective of where to stay in Abuja and you are forcefully staying in town pay 10m a year then you are deceiving yourself o
Once again,
If you have long term dreams in this town
Find house build or buy
That rent and "town" na fugazzi.
Except you own
As people don see that babe revenue for the Lagos game
People go launch games from tomorrow like mad
See ehn, just prepare
You go see games
No be Nigerians again?
The funny thing with South Africans fighting other Africans is that
The White South Africans who actually own the country are not always in the fight. They are never in the cut
Its the black south Africans.

MI Abaga ( @MI_Abaga )
The guy that changed the rap game in Nigeria.
MI became the most successful musician in Nigeria when people were saying "rap no dey sell"
- he made every SS1 - 300 level boy dream to become a rapper. we had 10 new MIs every week in Abuja
- he became the most featured rapper till date
- he became the highest selling rapper till date in Africa
- kids started dressing like MI Abaga
- the only rapper with an album where 80% of the songs were on charts. his gospel song with Eben topped sunday gospel charts on radio
- MI and his squad changed sound engineering in Nigeria. their mixes were the best.
God bless him man.
I remember that afternoon when @MI_Abaga walked into my office, excited, and played “Safe” for me in our little one-room office on Lobito Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja.
He played all 5 minutes and 14 seconds of it.
I loved the lyrics, but I was worried about the length.
“Jude, you have to cut this song down. Radio won’t play it.”
“They will play it,” he insisted.
I thoroughly disagreed.
But that was always our dynamic. @MI_Abaga and I would debate almost everything — music, ideas, strategy, life — sometimes intensely, before eventually finding alignment.
That day was no different.
Then he stopped and said, “Audu, trust me on this. This song will go as it is.”
Sensing that I was still unconvinced, he looked me dead in the eye and asked:
“Do you trust me?”
The way he asked it made it feel like a much bigger question than the length of a song. Almost as though, in that moment, our entire relationship was being defined by my answer.
I looked back at him with the same seriousness and said:
“Yes, Jude. I trust you.”
And he won.
But, as it turned out, we all won.
“Safe” went on to break records and become one of the defining songs of that era.
Sometimes leadership is knowing when to insist.
And sometimes leadership is knowing when to trust the genius sitting in front of you.
Happy birthday once again to my brother, a living legend, @MI_Abaga. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 #Safe
When you get kids
Get them to be active in church activities.
Not because 'they will be saints' no.
But because, the church, when properly involved in can train you for the real world
Many people became secretaries with SSCE, wrote minutes, learnt how to listen, learnt public speaking, faced real crowd, mastered self regulation, etc etc
The church is the freest internship you can give to a child. Their peers will get to 35 and start joining toastmasters club or start paying coaches to learn how to speak to a crowd of 5
I am not saying this is a silver bullet neither am I saying your kids will automatically turn out well if they are active in church
I am saying, if you can, take advantage. It will help build them in many aspects
