The Original Captain Marvel. As much as I enjoy his Shazam! exploits in the '70s and beyond...he never really recaptured the magic.

He was lifted from Fawcett in the '50s, plopped into DC's Bronze Age but never got a chance to properly evolve by continued publication through the Silver Age (unless you count Marvelman in the U.K.).

How would he, his Family and comics in general have been different? Guess we'll never know.

Thursday night, we went back to the Minors to watch the Dragons take on the top team in our division, the Great Lakes Loons, and saw our first win by the home team at Day Air Ballpark this season!

Looking back at my last seven days, it seemed we were just missing Mel Allen saying "How 'Bout That?"

Started in Cincinnati on Wednesday where players dream of finishing their careers...the Hall of Fame!

Dad and I spent many a Double Sticker Tuesday at the Englewood Hot Head. I even got us each their t-shirts and hats.
