As we remember 9/11 and the lives lost on this week’s 25th anniversary, I started the week by honoring our first responders with a climb up 110 floors. They made that climb with heavy equipment on their backs, into burning buildings, to help others. They were real heroes.

Karen and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton. Of all the remarkable people Karen met while serving as Ohio’s first lady, she has always said she was most excited to meet Dolly and that it was the meeting she remembered most. Dolly was truly one of a kind.
