Funny you mention zip ties... When I witnessed a live ICE raid in Los Angeles, they used zip ties to handcuff those they tackled and wrestled to the ground.

@washingtonpost I am still impacted by that experience. I am very fortunate that my education has to be both empirical and literal. I could do nothing to stop the attacks. They were running so fast and in so many directions with extreme fear on their faces.

@washingtonpost Miraculously, I went to the laundromat in a Latino community 4 months ago. As I stood outside, I heard a siren. It was a Latino warning that ICE was invading. It was literally an invasion because the uniformed in army fatigues dove on and handcuffed anyone running citizen or not.
