I keep seeing housing hot takes for California and they all completely miss the point. Like yeah Texas builds more houses so it’s cheaper but have you seen where they build??? WETLANDS. You know what happened to all that fantastic suburban housing with “no red tape” few years ago

Golf courses are not “existing green spaces” when they take more water to maintain than a neighborhood would and are private AND are devoted to a dumb game. Save scrub and wetlands and develop or restore golf courses instead.

An insurance company is overriding multiple doctors’ and hospitals’ treatment plan for a BABY WITH BRAIN CANCER. Like they’re better at determining what’s medically necessary. I will take “inefficient” single payer over profit driven ghouls any day. Shame on @bluecrossidaho
