Girlguiding accepted this man to become a Girl Guide leader.

He had publicly accessible photos and videos online showing himself wearing stockings, suspenders and corsets, including some in which he appeared to simulate sexual acts.

In a letter to the organisation’s head of safeguarding, he acknowledged sharing changing facilities with women and appeared to see no issue with doing so.

He was later appointed to a 16-person steering committee set up to advise on keeping trans girls and women involved in the organisation, following the Supreme Court ruling and the subsequent ban on boys and men.

It took months of work to bring this and other concerning findings from my investigation into Girlguiding into the public domain.

Collectively, they raise serious questions about safeguarding and decision-making within the organisation.

@Spurs_Optimist I walked through Unite the Kingdom march - Star of David out, didn’t get one negative interaction from thousands of people, in fact was the direct opposite. I spoke to someone wearing an Israeli flag and he said same.
